I’m expanding my parking space at home and I’m torn between asphalt and concrete. Asphalt seems cheaper and quicker, but I’ve heard concrete can last longer. I’d like something durable that won’t fall apart in a couple of years. Any input?

I went with asphalt recently after weighing the pros and cons https://oakshs.ca/asphalt/ handled the project, and they really made the process smooth. They explained how modern asphalt mixtures are more resistant to cracking and how regular sealing can extend the lifespan significantly. The install was quick, and the cost was lower than concrete—plus, it’s been holding up well through heat and snow. If you're looking for balance between budget and performance, asphalt can be a smart choice when done right.
Asphalt can be great if properly sealed every few years, but concrete’s definitely more durable long-term.
