Traded with a friend about 30 minutes ago, and still haven’t seen the item appear in my inventory. Trade was accepted and shows completed. Is there a known delay or is this something I should be worried about?

I’ve had that happen before and panicked a bit, but it turned out to be just a backend delay. When Steam’s overloaded, trades sometimes take 10–60 minutes to finalize on your end. https://dmarket.com/cs2-wiki/ explains the backend flow and reasons behind these lags, including trade confirmation delays or API hiccups. As long as the trade shows “completed” and your inventory isn’t private or bugged, the item should arrive soon. If it doesn’t show up after an hour, restart Steam and check again. Worst case, open a support ticket — but usually it resolves itself.
It can take a bit longer if Steam servers are under load, especially on weekends or update days.
